Parkent district hosts event dedicated to youth
MPs and activists of UzLiDeP, students of colleges and youth, businesses and farmers participated in the event.
During the event, the participants underlined that Uzbekistan pay attention to development of youth and implementation of their projects. It was noted that during independence years Uzbek youth achieved many successes, representing Uzbekistan in various international events.
There are over 90,000 young people in Parkent district, and 2,277 young people graduated six colleges in 2013/2014 academic year. UzLiDeP carries out several projects to support youth, launch their own businesses. Currently, over 520 youngsters are members of UzLiDeP.
In the past period of 2014, 25 young businesses received loans from banks for 463.1 million soums.
At the event, the active youth received diplomas and gifts. The popular singers and poets, as well as youth performed at the event.
