Paper and Paper Products Production in Uzbekistan Reaches UZS 8.9 Trillion in 11 Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Committee of Statistics, from January to November 2025, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced paper and paper products worth 8.9 trillion soums, marking a 7.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The highest production volumes were traditionally recorded in the city of Tashkent, where output reached 4.0 trillion soums, followed by Tashkent Region with 2.4 trillion soums.

Significant contributions also came from Samarkand Region (576.0 billion soums), Andijan Region (549.6 billion soums), and Ferghana Region (521.5 billion soums).

In Namangan Region, production amounted to 233.3 billion soums, in Khorezm Region — 255.3 billion soums, and in Jizzakh Region — 160.5 billion soums. More modest output levels were recorded in Bukhara Region (97.9 billion soums), Navoi Region (47.4 billion soums), and Kashkadarya Region (42.9 billion soums).

The lowest production volumes were noted in Syrdarya Region (30.5 billion soums), the Republic of Karakalpakstan (7.7 billion soums), and Surkhandarya Region (4.0 billion soums).
