So, the news agency Diplomatic News Agency (Pakistan) reported that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the region for the fourth time. During his trip on 15 May, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the first housing estate in Sardoba district.

The material notes that the restoration of the living conditions of the population, the repair of damaged houses and the construction of new housing is a paramount task, the state took upon itself the financing of all activities. It is expected that the first new settlers to move into the built houses by 1 September 2020.

The Centreline electronic portal informed about the provision of 40 million soums and gifts containing household appliances in the form of televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, mini stoves, electric stoves to each of about 4.5 thousand homeowners affected by the flood irons.

It is reported that the President of Uzbekistan personally handed gift certificates and bank cards to the affected people.
