The President was talking to ambassador-designate to Uzbekistan Wajidul Hassan, the report said.
President Zardari advised the newly appointed envoy to work for further strengthening the political, economic and trade relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
The ambassador-designate Wajidul Hassan thanked the president for the confidence reposed and assured that he would utilize all his capabilities to boost Pakistan’s bilateral ties with Uzbekistan.
