Over 8.1 Million Passengers Transported by Rail in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to September 2025, Uzbekistan’s railway system transported more than 8.1 million passengers, according to the National Statistics Committee.
This figure is 957,200 passengers higher than during the same period in 2024.
On average, about 29,800 passengers used railway services daily, reflecting a steady increase in demand for this mode of transportation.
