Over 62,000 Foreign Patients Visited Uzbekistan in First Eight Months of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2025, Uzbekistan received 62,054 foreign nationals seeking medical care, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The majority of patients came from neighboring countries. Tajik citizens led the list with 44,209 visitors, followed by citizens of Kyrgyzstan (10,427) and Kazakhstan (5,483).
Smaller numbers arrived from Russia (1,280), Afghanistan (343), and Turkmenistan (204). Patients from other countries included Türkiye (31), USA (11), China (10), Ukraine (9), and several other nations, totaling 47 people.
The statistics indicate that Tajik patients remain the main group of medical tourists visiting Uzbekistan, accounting for the vast majority of foreign medical care cases.
