Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Modern toilets will be installed in Tashkent city, the press service of the administration of the Uzbek capital said in a statement.

Two such facilities began to operate in Yakkasaray and Shaikhantaur districts of the city of Tashkent.

Tourists, guests, as well as residents of the capital, will be able to find a lot of useful things for themselves - a city map with sights, subway lines, addresses of hypermarkets and shopping centers, as well as a full list of emergency phone numbers are presented around the perimeter of the object in the form of an information board. It is difficult to imagine that all these are components of the outer part of the sanitary unit.

 “As is known, the number of tourists is growing every day, in turn, we are trying to create all the amenities for a comfortable stay in our country,” said the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Tourism, Saidakbarkhon Akbarov. And one of the directions is the implementation of this project to open a network of automated dry closets of European quality, the points are also equipped with free Wi-Fi.

The main advantage and difference of bioobjects from others is that they do not require the supply of sewage and water supply systems and work in a closed cycle in such a way that recycling of sewage takes place inside the structure of the cabin itself. It should be noted that within the framework of the project being implemented, which is included in the investment program of 2019, special attention is paid to creating separate comfortable conditions for the mother and child, as well as for people with disabilities.

- I think that this is a very good and timely initiative, which is long overdue, in our city there are just not enough such places. It would be great if sanitary points were established not only in the center, but also in other places of our city, - shared Andrei Filipsky.

At present, the city beautification service and people with disabilities can benefit from free services. By the end of the year, 61 sanitary and hygienic units will be built and put into operation in the capital in accordance with the European quality standard.
