Over 55 Million Foreigners with Valid U.S. Visas to Be Reviewed for Possible Violations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a comprehensive review of all foreign nationals holding valid U.S. visas, numbering more than 55 million, including tourists, students, and workers.

The initiative aims to identify potential violations of visa regulations, which could result in visa revocation and deportation.

Under the “continuous vetting” program, visas may be revoked if violations such as overstaying, involvement in criminal activity, threats to public safety, or links to terrorist organizations are discovered.

The review takes into account immigration records, legal offenses, and information obtained after the visa was issued, including an analysis of social media activity for anti-American or anti-Semitic statements.

Experts have expressed concern over potential infringements on the rights of foreign nationals. Critics of the program warn of risks of discrimination against specific groups and threats to freedom of speech, noting that social media monitoring could be used to exert pressure on political opponents and activists.

Representatives of the Trump administration insist that the review is aimed at ensuring national security and protecting U.S. citizens, and will be conducted within the framework of the law with respect for human rights.

This large-scale review of foreign nationals with valid visas is part of the administration’s broader immigration policy. While the goal is to enhance security, experts emphasize the importance of maintaining a balance between safeguarding the country and respecting the rights and freedoms of foreigners.

The government’s actions will be closely monitored by both national and international observers.
