Over 501,500 pupils to grade schools in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 501,500 youngsters will graduate the ninth class of the schools in Uzbekistan this year, according to the press service of the Ministry of Public Education.

Academic year will end in Uzbekistan at the end of the week. Now, there are 9,739 general schools in Uzbekistan, in which over 4.43 million pupils (1-9 classes) studied in 2013-2014 academic year.

According to polls, about 46,910 graduates or 9.4% from total number will continue to study at academic lyceums and 450,390 or 90.6% - at professional colleges.
