Over 5,000 Uzbek pilgrims to perform Hajj

Over 5,000 citizens of Uzbekistan will perform Hajj this year, the press service of the Committee on religious affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said.
The press service of the committee said that wide-scale preparation works for Hajj has been started in Uzbekistan.
The committee underlined that hotels, located close to holy places, were booked for pilgrims from Uzbekistan.
Some 30 people from working group, 30 doctors and 10 cooks will render services to pilgrims from Uzbekistan during their stay in Mecca and Medina.
