Over 400 Enterprises with UAE Capital Operate in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 December 2025, a total of 404 enterprises with capital from the United Arab Emirates are operating in Uzbekistan, the National Statistics Committee of the republic reported.

Of these companies, 138 operate as joint ventures, while 266 are registered as wholly foreign-owned enterprises. This reflects the continuing interest of UAE businesses in the Uzbek market and the expansion of their investment presence across various sectors of the country’s economy.

The highest concentration of enterprises with UAE capital is traditionally found in the city of Tashkent, where 297 companies are registered. In Tashkent Region, 31 such enterprises operate, in Samarkand Region — 17, in Andijan Region — 7, and in Jizzakh, Bukhara, and Namangan regions — 6 each. In Navoi Region, 5 enterprises function with UAE participation.

In Ferghana and Kashkadarya regions, 4 enterprises each operate with UAE capital; in Syrdarya Region — 10, and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 8. The lowest numbers are in Khorezm Region, with 2 enterprises, and Surkhandarya Region, with only 1 enterprise.
