Over 379 state assets realized to private sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 373 state assets were realized to private sector in January-September 2016, the Ministry of Economy and the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

At the same time, the investors undertook investment obligations for 313.6 billion soums. About 96 state assets of them realized on zero redemption price with undertaking investment liabilities for 294.5 billion soums and US$27.2 million with creation of over 7,400 new workplaces.

About 45 joint stock companies realized 15% or more stakes to foreign investors. In the result, number of joint stock companies with the state share in Uzbekistan fell from 302 to 183.
