Over 230,000 Uzbekistanis visited Türkiye in 10 months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — About 230,844 citizens of Uzbekistan travelled to Türkiye for tourism purposes in January–October 2025, an increase of 32.3 thousand people, or 16.3%, compared to the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.

More than half of all trips — 172.4 thousand — were tourist visits. Another 51.3 thousand citizens travelled to visit relatives, 2.3 thousand went for education, 3.3 thousand for medical treatment, and 1.6 thousand for business purposes.

The rise in the number of visitors reflects strengthening bilateral ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, as well as growing public interest in international travel for leisure, education and medical services.
