Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Two hundred and twelve citizens on Monday were delivered to Namangan from Iran (37 people) and Latvia (175 people). This was reported by UzA.
The citizens of Uzbekistan were brought to Namangan by a cargo plane of the Ministry of Defense, which delivered humanitarian aid to Iran.
Among them are also 14 drivers stuck on the closed Iranian-Turkmen border, as well as students, entrepreneurs and private individuals.
The flight from Riga was operated by Uzbekistan Airways.
Upon arrival, passengers were disinfected, and then on buses were taken to quarantine for 14 days.
