Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 20 April, another 21 patients with coronavirus infection from the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy fully recovered.

With the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health, they were carried out to the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation.

13 survivors arrived from Turkey to Tashkent on a charter flight and were quarantined at the Botanika sanatorium and the Urtasaray quarantine center. After the detection of coronavirus infection, they were transferred to the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy, where they underwent treatment.

The remaining 8 became infected as a result of contact with patients with coronavirus infection. Of the patients, 5 are men and 16 are women. Of these, 13 are from the city of Tashkent, 6 from the Tashkent region, one each from the Ferghana and Navoi regions. Among them, the oldest is 57 years old, the youngest is 5 years old.

Prior to this, 11 patients were cured in the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy, and now their number is 32.

It is noteworthy that not only patients with coronavirus infection, but the whole population rely on doctors. Medical personnel who have taken on such a serious responsibility courageously and vigorously fight the coronavirus and achieve effective results.

Today, the number of patients with complete recovery from coronavirus infection in the country has increased by 36 and amounted to only 261.
