Over 1m people cross Tajik-Uzbek border in six months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the six months of 2018, more than one million people crossed the Tajik-Uzbek border. This was stated by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon after talks with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

He noted that as far as creating favorable conditions for the free movement of citizens, the number of mutual trips has significantly increased.

“Over six months of this year with various purposes, including tourism purposes, more than one million citizens of our and other countries have crossed the Tajik-Uzbek border,” Rahmon added.
