Over 14,000 service objects created in Uzbekistan in 2015

Over 14,000 new objects in the sphere of services have been established in Uzbekistan in 2015 in a result of implementation of the Programme of development of the service sector for 2012-2016.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan, in the result, the volume of services rendered to the population increased by 14%, and the share of the sector in GDP rose from 54% in 2014 to 54.5% in 2015.
The highest rates of growth in 2015 were recorded in communication and information services (+15.4%), financial services (+ 30%), travel services (+ 15.9%), health care (+ 17.3%), personal services (+ 17.5%), and others.
