Over 11,000 children to get presidential gifts

According to the information service of the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan, the process of sending gifts to the regions was completed on 25 December 2013.

About 11,000 New Year gifts of the President were prepared and delivered to regions of the country, the ministry said.

The Uzbek ministry said that the gifts include 12 types of educational accessories and 15 types of sweets. The gifts will be handed over to children at the President’s New Year celebrations.

It added that some 6,341 gifts were delivered to Karakalpakstan and nine regions of Uzbekistan via Uzbekistan Havo Yollari aircrafts on 23-25 December 2013.

Other party of the presents was sent to Tashkent, Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions, and Tashkent city via motor transport.
