Outbreak of gas-air mixture occurred in Fergana region

An outbreak of the air-gas mixture occurred at the Rishton Bosmakhonasi enterprise in Rishtan district of Ferghana region on 27 November, the press service of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said.
The incident occurred at 08:40 as a result of non-compliance with security measures, when using gas appliances.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as a result of the incident, one person was injured, receiving moderate burns.
As a result of the shock wave, three pupils of school No. 1, located near the plant, received minor injuries.
The victims were hospitalized to the district hospital. After the first medical aid, three students were sent home.
Law enforcement bodies of Rishtan district are conducting pre-investigation measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
