Outbound Tourism from Uzbekistan to Qatar Nearly Quadrupled

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The number of tourist trips by Uzbek citizens to Qatar has increased sharply — in the first nine months of 2025, it grew almost 3.7 times.

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, between January and September this year, 9,500 Uzbek nationals traveled to Qatar for tourism purposes. This represents an increase of 6,900 people compared to the same period last year.

Most of the trips — around 8,100 — were for leisure and recreation. Another 1,100 people visited Qatar to meet relatives, 130 for business purposes, 110 for study, and four for medical treatment.
