Otabek Shukurov Signs Contract with UAE Club Bani Yas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team midfielder Otabek Shukurov has officially joined the UAE club Bani Yas, the team’s press service reported.

Shukurov had previously been in negotiations with several UAE clubs but ultimately chose Bani Yas. Another Uzbek player, Akmal Mozgovoy, is already part of the club’s roster.

After five rounds of the current season, the team sits at the bottom of the league table, having lost all opening matches. The addition of Uzbek players is expected to strengthen the squad and improve the club’s performance in the remaining fixtures.
