OSCE ODIHR delegation holds talks at Uzbekistan’s MFA
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE ODIHR) led by deputy head of Elections Department Nicola Schmidt on 28 October 2014.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides exchanged opinion on bilateral cooperation.
The OSCE ODIHR delegation familiarized with legislative bases of upcoming elections to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and regional, district and city Councils of People’s Deputies, scheduled for 21 December 2014.
