Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President’s resolution “On measures to improve the implementation of obligations arising from international treaties and the membership of the Republic of Uzbekistan in international organizations” was adopted.
The resolution approved the List of state bodies and other organizations responsible for fulfilling obligations under international treaties and Uzbekistan’s membership in international organizations.
According to the resolution, the authorized bodies on an ongoing basis analyze the feasibility in the future of Uzbekistan’s participation in the relevant international organization, as well as other benefits received from membership in it.
Starting from 2021, contributions and debts arising from them under obligations under international treaties and membership in international organizations are paid directly by authorized bodies at the expense of the State budget, extra-budgetary funds and own funds.
The resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for the payment of contributions arising from obligations under international treaties and the membership of Uzbekistan in international organizations.
According to the Regulation, contributions are paid by payers in accordance with payment documents (invoice) or notifications of the international organization (or organization (body) responsible for administering the relevant international agreement) confirming the amount of the contribution for the current year.
