Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the further development of roadside and tourist infrastructure” established that from 1 March 2020, it is banned the operation of gas filling compressor stations (CNG filling stations), automobile gas filling stations (AGZS) and gas stations (gas stations), which are not equipped with public sanitary and hygienic units operating around the clock that meet the requirements of sanitary and urban planning norms and rules.

In order to create additional conditions, the development and rehabilitation of the tourism sector in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 10 July 2020 No. 433 “On measures to create favorable conditions for the development and rehabilitation of the tourism sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the deadlines were extended to prevent functioning of CNG filling stations, gas stations and gas stations that are not equipped with public sanitary and hygienic units operating around the clock that meet the requirements of sanitary and urban planning norms and rules until 1 September 2020.

Proceeding from this, failure to comply with the decisions and requirements of territorial and republican working groups on the arrangement and bringing sanitary and hygienic units in line with the requirements of sanitary and urban planning norms and rules, as well as failure to eliminate the identified deficiencies before 1 September 2020 are the basis for the application of measures by:

territorial subdivisions of Uztransgaz and Khududgaz-taminot - on the temporary suspension of gas supply to CNG filling stations;

territorial oil depots of Uzbekneftegaz - to temporarily suspend the supply of petroleum products to gas stations until the identified deficiencies are completely eliminated in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 18 September 1998, No. 397 "On measures to improve the operation of gas stations and improve the provision of consumers of the republic with petroleum products";

commission for licensing activities for the extraction, processing and sale of oil, gas and gas condensate, design, construction, operation and repair of main gas pipelines, oil pipelines and oil product pipelines - to suspend the license to carry out activities for the sale of compressed and liquefied gas through CNG filling stations and gas filling stations in connection with failure to comply with licensing requirements and conditions in the prescribed manner.
