Opening of the Xinjiang China People’s Goods International Exhibition

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 12 November 2019, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, together with the Xinjian Chamber of the Republic of China, supported by the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan, hosted the opening ceremony of the Xinjian Commodity Exhibition of China - China Expo “Equipment and Products of Small Business ".

The main purpose of this exhibition is the development of trade, economic and investment relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the People’s Republic of China in the field of equipment, mini-technologies and finished products for small and private businesses.

The opening ceremony of the international exhibition was attended by State Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Abduvakhitov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry A. Ikramov, Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights and Legal Interests of Entrepreneurship D. Kasymov, Director of the Yoshlar-Kelajagimiz Fund B. Bakhrombekov, Deputy Chairman of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of China K. Zhao and Deputy Chairman of the Xinjiang Autonomous Council for International Trade of the People’s Republic of China V. Kuerban.

After the opening ceremony, high-ranking guests familiarized themselves with products manufactured by Chinese and Uzbek entrepreneurs.

The exhibition was attended by more than 40 leading Chinese companies and more than 100 local enterprises engaged in various fields, such as the production of concrete blocks, lawn slabs, building materials, packaging materials, electrical equipment, medical equipment, plastics, textiles, as well as agriculture , logistics and engineering.

The exhibition was divided into several different sectors such as food and packaging, construction and building materials, agricultural technology, textiles, clothing and footwear, transportation services, consulting services, the chemical industry, health care products, sale of metal networks, energy, steel construction and others.

In the end, visitors to the exhibition were able to get acquainted with innovations, and get information about products and suppliers, establish new business contacts when meeting with the manufacturer directly at B2 meetings, and also discuss issues of interest in an informal setting, communicating with company representatives.

Memoranda of understanding between the representatives of the two countries were also signed at the exhibition.

The exhibition will continue until 14 November 2019.
