Open Day at the Academy of the Prosecutor General
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 September 2019, the Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office hosted an open day dedicated to the Day of Teachers and Mentors, as well as the beginning of the first academic year in the Academy’s magistracy.
The event was attended by representatives of leading educational and scientific institutions of the country, the leadership of the Prosecutor General’s Office, honorary employees and veterans of the prosecutor’s office, employees of international and national organizations - partners of the Academy, the media, members of the Club of Future Prosecutors - students of Tashkent State University of Law and International Westminster University in Tashkent, Academy staff and their families, graduate students and their parents, other guests.
Deputy General Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan E.T. Yuldashev, on behalf of the leadership of the General Prosecutor’s Office, congratulated the teachers of the Academy on the day of the teacher and mentor, as well as the first students of the Academy’s magistracy with the beginning of the school year.
Congratulations were also made by students of the magistracy and their parents, who noted the holding of open and fair entrance exams to the magistracy of the Academy.
In honor of the holiday, as well as for a worthy contribution to the training, retraining and advanced training of prosecutors, a group of employees of the Academy was thanked, and diplomas and souvenirs were presented.
On the open day, guests of the Academy got the opportunity to comprehensively get acquainted with the activities of the departments, centers and departments of the Academy, as well as the organization of the educational process and scientific research.
In particular, a video was shown about the activities of the Academy, as well as a tour of the Academy building. During the tour, guests visited the trial simulation room, the forensic room and the training ground, an electronic shooting range, other specially equipped rooms for practical and situational classes, as well as the classrooms of the Academy.
The guests were also interested in the possibilities of electronic (distance) training, virtual inspection of the scene of the incident, and the Academy’s multimedia center.
During the event, quizzes and contests were held with the participation of guests, the winners of which were awarded prizes, and an interesting art and music program was organized.
