Online training center for journalists launched in Tashkent
Online training center will help to train electronic mass media specialists with use of modern multimedia resources and organize various interactive TV programmes.
Chairperson of the board of National Association of Electronic Mass Media Firdavs Abduhalikov said that the project was implemented by the Association and Fund Forum at the support of the OSCE and Parliamentary Commission on management of resources of Public Fund on support of NGOs and other institutions of civil society of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
Currently, mass media workers, including technical personal, undergo education at colleges, universities and special courses. But there are limited practical lessons. Similar centers were launched across Uzbekistan and mass media specialists will have chance receive both theoretical and practical lessons at the center.
Bakhtiyor Turakhanov, director of Forum TV, said that the center will host trainings and seminars to exchange experience and sessions of regional media councils. He said that the center plans to launch website, which will allow anybody to familiarize with content of trainings.
Similar training centers were also created in 13 regions of Uzbekistan. There were created in single design and style.
The centers are equipped with modern audio and video equipment, video-conference and VPN network, which will help to organize online trainings. The centers will also allow to exchange video materials across Uzbekistan.
