Online Sales in Uzbekistan Reach 22.7 Trillion Soums in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The number of e-commerce platforms in Uzbekistan grew from 36 to 115 in 2025, a 3.2-fold increase compared to 2024, the National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) reported.

At the same time, the volume of goods sold through e-commerce increased 1.5 times, reaching 22.7 trillion soums, with the share of online trade in total retail rising to 4.6%, up from 3.7% the previous year.

According to NAPP, total retail trade in the country amounted to 492.8 trillion soums in 2025, compared with 410.07 trillion soums in 2024.

For comparison, in 2020, sales through e-commerce platforms totaled just over 1 trillion soums, representing only 0.5% of total retail trade, which that year reached 199.52 trillion soums.
