Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Taking into account the wishes and needs of viewers, the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan launched the Umovie platform - an online cinema of films and TV series in Uzbek and Russian in the highest quality.

The platform works anywhere in the world and from any device. It will allow to watch films produced on the territory of Uzbekistan for all the time, starting from the 20s of the last century. All films and cartoons will be divided into categories for easy search and viewing. You can add a movie you like to the "Favorites" section and watch it at any time.

At the moment, more than 100 films and cartoons, both fiction and documentary, are available for viewing on the platform through the WEB application. The base of films will be updated on a regular basis. The launch of the Umovie application for the IOS and Android operating systems is also provided.

“The platform was created in accordance with the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan“ On measures to raise the cinema and film industry to a qualitatively new level and to further improve the system of state support for the industry. This is the demand of the time, these are the very steps to develop and promote national cinematography,” commented the head of the Agency of Cinematography of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov.

The presentation of the platform took place within the framework of the Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road".
