Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Omsk Innovative Technology Plant (OJSC “OmZIT”), specializing in the development and production of boiler equipment under the LAVART brand, plans to launch a production facility in Uzbekistan. This was announced by the Governor of Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko.
The decision followed a meeting between representatives of the Omsk side and the Uzbek business community within the framework of the intergovernmental commission.
During the negotiations, the parties agreed to establish an engineering center in Bukhara, as well as partially localize OmZIT’s production in Uzbekistan.
Governor Khotsenko noted that the agreements were reached during his visit to Uzbekistan and emphasized the readiness of Omsk enterprises to contribute to the modernization of the country’s energy infrastructure.
On 23 December, an Uzbek delegation led by Bukhara Mayor Kurbon Tursunov visited the city. The talks focused on concrete steps and project timelines. Establishing local production and an engineering center will foster cooperation in innovative energy solutions and enhance technological exchange between the regions.
The opening of the LAVART engineering center and production facility in Bukhara will mark an important step in industrial cooperation between Omsk Region and Uzbekistan and will support the development of the country’s energy sector.
