Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 22-24 April 2021, the system enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz took part in a fair to strengthen cooperation and localization in the mining and metallurgical, energy, chemical and construction sectors, which took place in Navoi region.

This exhibition was attended by domestic manufacturers and service enterprises from all regions of the republic. Of these, about 150 enterprises presented their own industrial products.

At this industrial fair, Uzbekneftegaz, JV Uz-Kor Gas Chemical LLC and Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC presented their high-quality polymer products, as well as, as a result of their processing, produced polymer pipes, spare parts for drip irrigation systems, composite panels, consumer products. The Bukhara oil refinery participated with a wide range of fuel products, and Makhsusenergogaz JSC with polyethylene coatings for metal pipes and various services.

During the fair, a number of practical agreements were reached in the field of localization and cross-sectoral cooperation. In particular, we agreed on the supply of diesel fuel for the needs of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine in the long term from the Bukhara Oil Refinery and Uzbekneftegaz GTL.

Also, memorandums were signed on the development on the basis of Navoi Machine-Building Plant JSC of previously purchased metal products necessary for the needs of the Uz-Kor Gas Chemical joint venture, providing chemical reagents to Navoiazot JSC.

The terms of contracts were agreed on the supply of products, components, materials and services by domestic enterprises for a total amount of more than 35 billion soums by enterprises for the extraction, processing and drilling of oil and gas within the system.

As a result of these agreements, domestic enterprises will provide supplies of filters, industrial oils, fasteners and control units, chemical products, pressure gauges and meters, bearings, bentonites, barite, cuffs, rubber and electrical products, fire extinguishing installations, etc.

This event will allow Uzbekneftegaz JSC and system enterprises to strengthen cooperative ties with domestic producers and further create a value chain in the oil and gas sector.
