Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A grove will be laid in the center of Tashkent on 3 May in connection with the 20th anniversary of international exhibition and conference “Oil and Gas Uzbekistan – OGU”. Seedlings of juniper and arborvitae will be planted in the green zone of the Baynalminal street, near the Park named after Alisher Navoi.

The jubilee will attract experts of the industry and leading companies. Among the participants will be LUKOIL, SOCAR, Schlumberger, General Electric, Hyndai Engineering Co. Ltd, etc.

One of key topic at the conference will be ecology. First Vice President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič and Secretary-General of International Gas Union Pål Rasmussen will participate in the event.

The event provides a top-level business platform to showcase the latest achievements and developments for the international oil and gas companies, as well as the best meeting place for suppliers and manufacturers.
