Officials Discussed Establishing an Auto Parts Enterprise with Korean Investors In Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Mirzokhid Ubaydullaev, First Deputy Hokim of Ferghana Region, held a meeting with a delegation from the South Korean company Hansae Mobility.

During the talks, the parties discussed moving to the next stage of implementing agreements reached during the Ferghana delegation’s practical visit to Korea in October of this year, as well as prospective projects in the region.

Particular attention was given to a major project by the Korean company to produce automotive components in Ferghana Region and the stages of its implementation. Mirzokhid Ubaydullaev emphasized that attracting foreign investment and providing comprehensive support for promising projects remain priority tasks for the regional leadership.

Investors were provided with full information on the opportunities offered by free economic zones, tax and customs incentives, and infrastructure conditions for establishing production.

It was noted that launching the new enterprise will create additional jobs and enable the introduction of modern technologies in the region. During the meeting, concrete measures for cooperation and further interaction were agreed upon.
