Official Welcoming Ceremony Held in Tashkent for President of Turkmenistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the official welcoming ceremony was held for the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, invited the distinguished guest to the reviewing stand.

The military orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries, after which the honor guard marched ceremoniously before the leaders. The heads of state greeted members of the official delegations.

The main program of the visit is scheduled for tomorrow, 17 November.

During the high-level talks, the leaders plan to discuss further strengthening of Uzbek-Turkmen strategic partnership and the expansion of multifaceted cooperation.
