Official Welcoming Ceremony Held for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 December, an official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was held at the Kantei residence, where he was received by the Prime Minister of Japan, Sanae Takaichi.

The head of the Japanese government warmly welcomed the leader of Uzbekistan and invited him to step onto the podium.

The national anthems of both countries were played, after which the leaders inspected the honor guard and greeted members of the official delegations.

The ceremony concluded with a joint photo session, followed by the start of high-level talks.
