October Tourist Arrivals in Uzbekistan Exceed 1.17 Million
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In October 2025, Uzbekistan welcomed 1.17 million foreign tourists, marking a 13.2% increase compared to the same period last year. The country’s tourism sector continues to demonstrate steady growth, according to the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee.
The rise in inbound tourism is largely attributed to a simplified visa regime, expanded direct flight routes, and active promotion of the country’s tourist potential internationally.
Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva remain the most popular destinations. At the same time, interest in eco-tourism and culinary tourism has noticeably increased, with more travelers choosing trips to the Fergana Valley and southern regions.
Since the beginning of 2025, over 9.7 million foreign visitors have arrived in Uzbekistan.
