Nurseries and plantations for growing wild plants to be registered in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government resolution on the Regulations on the procedure for creating and maintaining state records of nurseries and plantations for growing wild plants approved.

In accordance with the Regulations, the use fee and the corresponding permits for collecting and harvesting wild plants grown in nurseries and plantations are not required.

A nursery is a specialized farm for growing seedlings and saplings of trees and shrubs or herbaceous plants for environmental or other purposes.

Plantations for growing wild plants are created on agricultural land, forest land, reserve land and other lands, with the exception of water protection zones.

And nurseries for growing wild plants are created on the land plots of economic entities, forestry and other lands.

The register of nurseries and plantations is maintained by the State Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection.

For state registration of nurseries and plantations, the planter sends an application to the authorities on ecology and environmental protection no earlier than fifteen days from the date of drawing up the act of planting (planting) planting material by written or electronic circulation.

The planter is obliged to apply in advance about ensuring the participation of a representative of the body on ecology and environmental protection seven days before sowing (planting) planting material in nurseries and plantations.

The body on ecology and environmental protection within two days from the date of receipt of the application for ensuring the participation of the observer is obliged to send him information about the delegated representative.

At the end of the sowing (disembarking) the planter is obliged within three days to notify the body on ecology and environmental protection and to send an act of sowing (disembarking).

Bodies on ecology and environmental protection within three days make a decision on the inclusion of nurseries and plantations in the registry.
