Nuroniy Foundation, Beeline congratulate war veterans

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Foundation for Social Support of Veterans “Nuroniy” and single communication operator Beeline held an event for World War II veterans on the eve of Day for Remembrance and Honour (9 May).

On 7 May, Ezidyor restaurant hosted a solemn event for World War II veterans of Tashkent city and region. Some 350 veterans visited event, which was organized by Nuroniy and Beeline.

Erkin Bakibaev, chairperson of the Central Council of Nuroniy, said the World War II participants from Uzbekistan are respected in the country. He said that he is happy that Beeline supports Nuroniy Foundation in organization of events for war veterans.

The veterans were treated with food and sweets and they received gift. The event was accompanied with musical programme. Musicians presented their songs.
