Nurimyon Abulhasan appointed as Head of Division of Main Directorate for Combating Terrorism of Ministry of Interior Affairs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Lieutenant Colonel Nurimyon Abulkhasan has been appointed as head of the department of the Main Directorate for Combating Terrorism and Extremism of the Ministry of Interior Affairs. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Prior to that, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs - Director of the Information and Analytical Center for the Study of Religious and Social Processes. Dilshod Eshnaev replaced him in this post.

Colonel Abdugofur Akhmedov became the new head of the Committee on Religious Affairs. Prior to that, he was the head of the Office of the State Security Service in Surkhandarya region.

As head of the committee, he was replaced by Jasur Akramov.
