Number of Registered Online Stores and Marketplaces in Uzbekistan Reaches 100
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The number of online stores and marketplaces registered in the state registry has reached 100, the press service of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan reported.
On 10 October, three new platforms were added to the list — Gobozor.uz (operated by U-Win Market), Taqsim Oylik (Taqsim Solution), and Yandex Samokatlar by YandexGo UB. Three days earlier, the registry was expanded with the addition of the Alif Travel (Alif Sayohat) service.
Since the beginning of 2025, 25 platforms have been registered, including three services from Yandex — Yandex Fuel, Yandex 360, and Yandex Scooters — as well as 1Fit, Humans Market, and HET Billing.
The registry of online stores operates on the platform of the fiscal data operator OFD.uz under the Tax Committee. Since the summer of 2022, entrepreneurs selling goods and services through marketplaces have been required to issue fiscal receipts.
To be included in the registry, a platform owner must submit an application to the Tax Committee along with:
a conclusion from the fiscal data operator confirming that the software meets technical requirements;
samples of electronic cash receipts;
a reference electronic sample of the marketplace system (APK file and website URL);
a technical passport describing system specifications and warranty obligations.
A Cabinet of Ministers resolution, effective since May 2022, introduced the mandatory issuance of electronic receipts for sales made through marketplaces and electronic services. Violations of this requirement are subject to liability under Article 227-1 of the Tax Code.
According to the Tax Committee, since the beginning of the year, e-commerce services in Uzbekistan have issued 140 million electronic receipts to consumers, totaling 18.8 trillion soums.
