Number of issued plastic cards exceeds 19.22 million units

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 January 2018, number of plastic cards, issued in Uzbekistan, exceeded over 19.22 million units, which decreased by 1.53% compared to 1 January 2017, according to data of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, commercial banks of Uzbekistan installed 235,712 POS-terminals (+13.03%) and 5,632 ATMs and infokiosks (+13.68%).

According to the regulator, amount of payments made through terminals reached over 52.97 trillion soums (-0.15%).
