Number of Enterprises with Foreign Investment in Uzbekistan Increases by 16.4%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 August 2025, there are 16,609 enterprises with foreign investment operating in Uzbekistan, according to the National Committee of Uzbekistan.

Of these, 4,094 are joint ventures, while 12,515 are fully foreign-owned companies. Compared to the same period last year, the number of such enterprises has increased by 16.4%.

The distribution of enterprises with foreign participation by investor country is as follows: China — 4,250, Russia — 3,093, Türkiye — 1,982, Kazakhstan — 1,149, South Korea — 671, Afghanistan — 622, UAE — 369, India — 332, and the USA — 322.
