Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of  16:30 on 22 May 2020, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 3028 (+22).

Of the confirmed new cases, 11 were detected in quarantined citizens, 11 – among the population. Of the identified cases of infection in quarantined citizens, 6 are for citizens who returned from abroad, and 5 people became infected as a result of contact with patients.

And all cases detected among the population are confirmed in Samarkand region. All citizens who came into contact with these patients were placed under strict quarantine in the prescribed manner.

In our country at the moment, 2463 citizens have completely recovered from coronavirus infection. Currently, 552 patients are being treated in Uzbekistan.
