Number of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan hits 2880

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 10:00 on 20 May 2020, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 2880 (+25).

Of the confirmed new cases, 5 were detected in quarantined citizens, 20 - in citizens who arrived from abroad. Of the 20 citizens, 5 arrived from St. Petersburg on a charter flight, 10 from Kazakhstan and were placed in a quarantine center, 3 people are drivers of international long-distance trucks, 2 - drivers of international long-distance trucks from Kazakhstan.

In our country, at the moment, 2338 citizens have completely recovered from coronavirus infection. Now 529 patients are being treated in Uzbekistan. Among them, 6 people have a serious condition.
