Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 10:00 on22 May 2020, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 3006 (+39).

Of the confirmed new cases, 5 were identified among citizens who were in quarantine, 6 - from citizens who arrived from abroad (all six are drivers of international long-distance trucks), 28 - among the population.

Of the cases detected among the population, 13 were confirmed in Samarkand and 15 in Navoi regions. All citizens who came into contact with these patients were placed under strict quarantine in the prescribed manner.

In our country, at present, 2,407 citizens have completely recovered from coronavirus infection. Now 586 patients are being treated in Uzbekistan. Among them, 4 people have a serious condition.
