Number of citizens at age of over 60 makes up 6.7% of population

According to the organization, this is one of the lowest figures among the CIS member states. The organization forecasts that number of citizens at the age of over 60 in Uzbekistan will reach 11.6% by 2030 and 19.4% by 2050.

HelpAge International said that number of population at the age of over 60 will grow from current 12% to 21% by 2050. China, India and United States will have over 100 million elder people each.
