Nodir Ganiyev Presents Credentials to Prince Albert II of Monaco
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Nodir Ganiyev, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Principality of Monaco, with residence in Paris, presented his credentials to Prince Albert II on 7 October, Dunyо news agency reports.
During the ceremony, the Prince praised Uzbekistan’s reform progress under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Particular attention was given to the country’s large-scale renewable energy projects, the transition to a “green” economy, and Uzbekistan’s ambitious goal to generate 54% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
Prince Albert II also congratulated Uzbekistan on hosting the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, noting that the event reflects the country’s openness to the international community and its active foreign policy.
Ambassador Ganiyev emphasized that he would exert all efforts to further develop Uzbek-Monegasque relations.
Diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Monaco were established on November 29, 2013. Previously, Ganiyev was appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to France and presented his credentials to President Emmanuel Macron in November 2024. Since May of this year, he has also served as Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Portugal.
