Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Nineteen patients with coronavirus infection were treated in the Ferghana Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital. With the participation of senior officials of the regional health department, they were carried out for rehabilitation.

9 of those recovered came from Turkey and 1 from Saudi Arabia and were quarantined. After confirmation of the coronavirus infection, they are hospitalized in the regional infectious diseases hospital. The remaining 9 were infected by contact with patients with coronavirus infection. 11 of them are from Ferghana region, 3 from Tashkent city, 2 from Samarkand region, 1 from Jizzakh, Syrdarya and Tashkent regions. Among the patients there are 10 men, 8 women and a three-month-old baby, and the oldest is 61 years old.

In Ferghana region, up to this time 11 patients have been cured, and now their number has reached 30.

The cured patients fully recovered thanks to the correct treatment procedures carried out by the doctors of the regional infectious diseases hospital based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization.

Currently, a total of 582 patients with coronavirus infection in the country have fully recovered.
