NIKA FARM Fined for Misleading Advertising of Forsil

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  NIKA FARM LLC has been fined for violating advertising legislation.

During monitoring carried out by the Competition Committee, it was revealed that the company had distributed advertisements on social media containing the claim: “Forsil – the pain disappears completely without a trace.”

Following an inspection, it was determined that this material violated Article 34 of the Law On Advertising, which prohibits advertisements of over-the-counter medicines from containing guaranteed statements about a drug’s effectiveness.

Based on these findings, the Committee’s Special Commission opened a case against LLC NIKA FARM.

As a result, the company was issued a financial penalty. In addition, measures have been taken to eliminate the violations, and recommendations were provided to prevent similar cases in the future.
