Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, heavy-duty vehicles are widely used to deliver gold-containing ore mined from mines to hydrometallurgical plants. The Road Transport Department of the Central Mining Administration of the plant is of great importance in this. This was reported by the press center of NGMK.

The management team timely and efficiently performs such tasks as delivering ore and rock mass mined from the Muruntau and Auminzo-Amantoi mines to warehouses, repair and maintenance of heavy-duty motor vehicles and technical equipment. In the convoys that combined the technological vehicles of the enterprise, there are modern vehicles and various auxiliary equipment.

With the direct support of the management of NGMK, the fleet of the Automobile Transport Department is expanding from year to year with modern vehicles. Over the five months of this year, 12 Catterpillar dump trucks, as well as 5 loaders and 4 bulldozers, were brought into management. Today, BelAZ, Catterpillar dump trucks with a lifting capacity of 136 and 220 tons, excavators, wheel loaders are used in high-performance management. More than three hundred units of the enterprise’s vehicles are involved in production processes. By the end of the year, it is planned to bring another 34 units of such modern technology.

The assembly and commissioning in a short time of heavy mining equipment brought to the Department of Road Transport requires great skill from specialists. On the site of preparation for production, the assembly of new vehicles takes 5-6 working days.

To strengthen the knowledge and skills of drivers in the new educational building, the BelAZ and Catterpillar dump truck driving simulators are used at the enterprise. Here, drivers, in addition to increasing their practical experience, also master the capabilities of modern mining equipment.
